Made of organic steel-cut oats, millet and toasted almonds, it is a creamy and full-bodied cereal with a delicious nutty crunch. Takes longer to cook -- 40 minutes, or soak it overnight and it takes only 10 minutes. A wonderfully soothing way to start the day.

Cereal (cups) 1/4 1/2 3/4 1
salt (tsp.) pinch ⅛ 1/4 1/4
Directions: add cereal and salt to water, bring to a boil.
simmer for 35-40 minutes, stirring occasionally. add more
water if necessary.
Quick recipe: the night before serving, add cereal
and salt to water. Bring to a boil, stirring once or twice.
remove from heat. Cover tightly and let sit overnight.
In the morning, bring to a boil again; reduce heat and
simmer, stirring occasionally,for 5-10 minutes
(add more water if cereal becomes too
dry). Remove from heat. let stand several minutes. stir,
then serve with sweetener,fruit, or plain.
