2007 Fiddlers Green farm trek team (not all of us!)

Our Fiddlers Green Farm team of bicyclers participated in the Trek Across Maine for the 13th year this year! We had 22 members of the team, bicycled from Bethel, Maine to Owls Head (near Rockland), Maine- 180 miles- in 3 days, in support of this wonderful organization- The Maine Lung Association, which works tirelessly and effectively to promote good air quality and good lung health in Maine. We are very proud to have all taken part in this beautiful bike ride for this wonderful cause. We raised over $10,000 for the Lung Association.

Maine Organic Farmers & Gardeners

The Maine Organic Farmers and Gardeners Association (MOFGA), formed in 1971, is the oldest and largest state organic organization in the country.

The purpose of the Association is to help farmers and gardeners grow organic food, protect the environment, recycle natural resources, increase local food production, support rural communities, and illuminate for consumers the connection between healthful food and environmentally sound growing practices.

The Maine Organic Farmers and Gardeners Association provides Fiddlers Green Farm's products their organic cerification. They are a USDA-accredited organic certifier, operating principally in the state of Maine, and has been in operation since 1972.
